Atari 8 Bit Diagnostic Set 400/800/XL/XE

Atari Multi Diagnostic Cartridge for 8 Bit Computers.

This cartridge has only been tested on the Atari 800XL and Atari 130XE but has been designed to fit 400 and 800 models and the SIO dongle supports the 12v line on the 400/800.

Please note: These have been tested with my 800XLs and 130XEs and report passes with the ROMs designed for those models BUT the hardware does not support the external audio hardware in the SuperSALT test assembly that simulates audio produced by the cassette recorder or other external audio devices. The original hardware produces a short melody, which obviously can’t happen without the chip that is presenet in that cartridge. You will get Pokey and BAUD errors.

That said, I tested the 800XL and 130XE with a cassette player and they worked perfectly despite those errors.
